On January 30th, while in New Orleans, former Senator John Edwards announced that he will be pulling his name out of the presidential race. It was some what of a suprise, as Edwards has previously stated that he intended to stay in the race till the end. However, due to a lack of fundraising that was far behind Obama and Clinton, and his results in the polls, it was a smart decision. Although Edwards has pulled his name out of the race, he still hopes to help make America better and find that right candidate from the Democratic side to step into the White House next January. He has pledged his support to Obama, and it should be interesting to see in the next couple of weeks whether or not he endorses him.
